Subtitles module is great functional addition for video material on your site. For now: video lectures, telecasts and films cough be clear for much more number of potential onlookers. It's support such formats as — SubRip (SRT) and Timed Text Authoring Format (TT AF DFXP).

Subtitles — text following for video on original language or translation, dubbed and supplemented some time, for hard-of-hearing or deaf people for example, film or telecast audio track.

SubRip (SRT file extension)

SubRip is an optical character recognition program for Windows which rips (extracts) subtitles and their timings from video files or DVDs, recording them as a text file. Subrip is also the name of the subtitle format created by this software. The caption files are named with the extension .SRT. Timed Text (TT) Authoring Format 1.0 – Distribution Format Exchange Profile (DFXP)

The Timed Text Authoring Format (TT AF) Distribution Format Exchange Profile (DFXP) provides a standardized representation of a particular subset of textual information with which stylistic, layout, and timing semantics are associated by an author or an authoring system for the purpose of interchange and potential presentation.
