The Sonettic Cinema Player HD can be easily integrated into your website. As well as Adobe Flash, we use built-in mechanism called flashvars to transfer settings from HTML to SWF (for more information visit Adobe website).

To set the player we have to transfer HTML parameters into SWF-flashvars (for details visit Adobe site), and to change XML configuration.

Initial data:

The main goals are to integrate the player into index.html page, and to paste thumbnail thumb.png and the file trailer.flv with the video.

Important! If you want the player to load pictures from your domain, you have to place crossdomain.xml file in the root of your server (more about Cross-domain policy file specification).

On your server you have to create a folder named integration. Then you have to place the following code into the file index.html.

Different browsers use various tags to play swf files. For instance, Internet Explorer uses Object, but FireFox uses embed. Simply speaking, we have to repeat the same data about our video in both tags: Object and Embed.

The video path as a variable content you have to paste into flashvar.

The next step is to paste thumbnail for your video. In this case you have to use variable poster in the flashvar.
